Thank you for your interest in the Real Mature Singles offer. You will surely find that our high payouts make this one of the most lucrative dating affiliate promotions on the web today. We wanted to better explain the dynamics so we can both be successful going forward.
We realize that all great offers that last for any period of time have two things in common:
1. The advertiser rewards the affiliate promoting his offer with high-payouts that allows the affiliate to make a nice return.
2. The affiliate promoting the offer sends high-quality traffic to the advertiser which enables the advertiser to make money on their end In essence, all great offers are win-win. Therefore, we want you fully to understand the type of leads we are looking for, so we can win on our end and keep some of our payouts far above the market rates.
So Why the Variable Payout?
We all know that all leads are not created equal. For years we rewarded people with the same rates regardless of the quality of their traffic. Unfortunately, people that were providing the best traffic were being paid the same amount as affiliates producing the lowest quality traffic. Well that just isnt sensible business. Realizing that both quality and targeting mattered, we set out to create an optimization engine that would enable us to reward affiliates sending the most valuable traffic. By creating our pre-lead qualification system, we are now able to anticipate the likely value of a lead and route the traffic accordingly. Its what allows to pay above market rates for leads.
Our Target Market Relationship Minded Professional Singles
Its important to understand, we are not online dating and we are not targeting casual daters out for a one night stand. (There are plenty of other offers serving that demo). Our core customer are high-end matchmakers/dating services that charge thousands of dollars per membership. Because of price points in matchmaking, we can pay a substantial premium to any online dating service. Quite simply, the right traffic is worth more to us than it is to them. It's no surprise that the higher the income, the higher the probability that they would look to join a matchmaking service.
When we cannot sell a lead to a matchmaker, we refer the lead to an online dating service so the traffic does not go to waste. Not coincidentally, the same traffic that converts well for matchmakers also converts well for online dating sites. We have found that relationship minded singles convert at much higher levels and at much higher price points than casual daters.
Targeting the following demographics will help you attract the right traffic and achieve the highest eCPC:
MATURE: Your ads should be targeted at men and women ages 40-65. We will accept leads under 40 (as low as 30) so you don't get stuck with traffic, but you should not target this demographic as there is a big drop off in value for our clients. If youre average age isnt high enough, you will likely be pulled from the offer.
WOMEN > MEN: In the matchmaking category, women are actually worth more than men so long as they earn greater than $35,000 per year. This is different from online dating and should lead to lower competition. You should also target men, but we would not be disappointed if your male to female ratio was 40:60.
PROFESSIONAL: Target professional singles and/or retired singles with money. The higher income the better. Leads should be above $35K in income. We do not accept profiles of full-time students or people looking for work as they do not financially qualify.
RELATIONSHIP MINDED: People that choose matchmaking services are interested in a serious relationship. They are generally working full-time and they don't have time for BS. They don't "chat" and they are not looking for "fast hookups".
DEMOGRAPHIC MARKETS SUITED FOR MATCHMAKING: We have achieved almost 100% coverage of DMAs that can support matchmaking services. Los Angeles can support several high-end matchmaking services. Spokane, Washington can't support any. Also, certain states have extremely prohibitive laws (New York, North Carolina) making it practically impossible to serve this area without breaking the law. We have provided a list of DMAs that are currently active. Affiliates that can target these DMAs without blowing up their costs will achieve higher eCPCs. Please be sure to regularly check our target market list as they can change at any time.
EMOTIONAL: While this is not a demographic per se, the best creatives will tug at the emotions of single people. Hit their pain points (sick of online dating, sick of being alone, etc). We try to hit people when they are most frustrated with their dating life and commit them to massive change by working with a matchmaker, who will not only match them but typically coach them along the way and provide support.
SPECIFIC RULES:
1) No Incentivized Traffic.
2) No Co-Registrations
3) Absolutely no promoting the offer as a "free" service. This includes no promoting the offer as a "free trial".
4) No Iframing or similar cloaking techniques. All Leads must be captured through Azoogle approved landing pages.
5) Specific words that cannot be used in any ad or creative: FREE, TRIAL, 100%, SEXY, MILF, CHAT, BOOBS, HORNY, GUARANTEE, GUARANTEED.
6) Images should be tasteful. Some sex appeal is OK, but no scantily clad women. There is a difference between sex appeal and women with size 44DD chests used in other ads that are simply using cleavage to attract clicks. Do not push the envelope here. If you have any doubt about an image, youre probably right.
7) No Ethnically Focused Sites. You may not place ads on sites that are blatantly focused any specific ethnic group or race.
8) No Advertising On Adult Content Sites. While people that like sex surely want relationships too, this traffic simply does not convert for us.
9) No False Claims. Do not misrepresent the offer represented on the landing page. For example, although some traffic will be offered a Free Trial, not everyone will be so you may not make that claim.
10) You are expected to stay within the spirit of the offer. If you have doubt about your copy, creatives or traffic sources, run it by your affiliate manager.
11) All traffic that violates the above rules will be subject to full charge back.
