Requirements: Best Practices Affiliate Marketing Test-Aankoop/Test-Achats General Acceptance Rules & Use of Creatives i. Rejected sites: In order to maintain its reputation as a leading consumers association, Test- Aankoop/Test-Achats has decided that all sites may apply to the Test- Aankoop/Test-Achats Affiliate Program, except: • Adult content sites • Political sites • Racist or extremist sites • All sites promoting or displaying violence • Peer 2 peer sites (illegal downloads) • Links farms ii. Social Sites: Affiliates that want to use social sites (i.e. Facebook) should submit their proposal for approval prior to publication. Right column ads are prohibited. Test-Aankoop/Test-Achats has already an official Facebook page, affiliates can only create a page with their affiliates names, not with the clients brand name. Affiliates have to control comments and take care that the reputation of client is not sullied. Partners must give Evolutionland all info about the created Facebook pages. iii. Use of approved material: Affiliates should solely use the approved material (banners, emails, text links,…). If they want to use another material or perform a change / add content to the existing material, they should submit it for approval prior to publication. iv. Fairness in communication: Obviously, all affiliates have to be fair in their communication. All affiliates that are encouraging their web audience to subscribe solely to get the free gifts will be immediately excluded from the program. v. Extensions: Websites with other extensions than .be, .com, .eu and .org, can not be accepted on the campaigns without written approval. 2. Keyword Buying i. The Keyword buying policy is restricted (no use of brand names). Ads should be approved prior to launch. 3. DEM (E-mail Marketing) i. Mandatory Opt-in: Obviously, the affiliates’ recipients have to be all opt-in (or double opt-in) addresses. Moreover, the mail should mention how the address has been collected. ii. Mandatory Opt-out: • Emailers must mention an opt-out message and link in the email (footer and /or header). Recipients must have the opportunity to unsubscribe/remove themselves directly trough the sent mail on the listing of. • Affiliates should provide us with the whole data of the people who, after having received the emailing, want to be removed and not to be contacted any more by Test-Aankoop/Test-Achats. iii. Creatives • E-mailers must use the creatives approved by the agency and client and delivered to the affiliate network. • If they want to use a specific creative, they have submit to the client for approval prior to launch. • Pre-landing page: Affiliates can create pre-landing page, but they should submit their proposal for prior approval to publication. Authorized emails and banners can be used as pre-landing page. Email sender identity: • The sender has to be the owner of the Database. • DEM affiliates may not use Test-Aankoop/Test-Achats as sender name (expressions like “firstname.lastname@example.org”, “email@example.com”, etc… are not allowed either). “Test-Aankoop/Test-Achats by ” is allowed. • Gmail-addresses are not allowed. • The e-mail should contain the following message: Cette publicité Test-Achats vous est envoyée par xxxxxxx. Vos données nominatives ou votre adresse email n’ont pas été transmises à Test-Achats. or Deze publiciteit van Test-Aankoop werd u verstuurd door xxxxx. Uw gegevens of emailadres werden niet doorgegeven aan Test-Aankoop. vi. Contact Data: Networks should have the publisher’s contact person and coordinates. vii. Email shoots Emailers may not shoot the same DB with the same message in a time window shorter than 3 weeks viii. Robinson list The Robinson list should be checked before each sending IF THESE CONDITIONS ARE NOT RESPECTED, THE CLIENT WILL NOT PAY THE GENERATED LEADS AND THE AFFILIATE WILL BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DAMAGE TO THE CLIENT’S REPUTATION.
