What is affiliate marketing?
In short, affiliate marketing is a better way to make money on your website than adsense or selling ad space. The payout is generally higher and the ads that you show your visitors are more targetted to their needs.
So how do you start affiliate marketing? First you identify what you want to promote on your site. For example, if you have a health and fitness website you want to find a health and fitness related affiliate program that has the highest payout. To do this you would search for health and fitness affiliate programs on oDigger. Then find a program that works for your site and has the highest payout from the list of health and fitness programs.
Once you have found the right program to run, click the "join network" button next to that offer. This will take you to a sign up page for the Affiliate Network that is carrying the offer you are interested in. Fill out that form and someone will call you from the network to approve your application. Once they approve you, they will provide you with all the ads and resources you will need to run the offer. Just place the link they provide somewhere on your site and and you are ready to make money with affiliate marketing.
